Description Pattern and print kit designed for a beginner to stump work, but who has some knowledge of embroidery stitches and a good collection of her own threads and accessories. Careful step by step instructions take the embroiderer through a number of techniques specific to stump work embroidery. If you are an embroiderer keen to learn about this form of 17th century embroidery, this contemporary piece will guide you through covering wires, needlelace techniques, covering beads, applique and padded work. N.B. Please note that threads and needles are NOT included in our Pattern & Prints. DESIGN SIZE: 4” x 5” or 10cm x 12cm approx. Suitable for framing. A 7″ or 17cm hoop/frame is required to work in. CONTENTS: The design is screened onto a soft cream, top quality 100% cotton fabric and is supplied with muslin for backing, colour photographs, a full set of instructions and stitch glossaries.
