Careful step by step instructions take the embroiderer through a number of techniques specific to stump work embroidery. If you are an embroiderer keen to learn about this form of 17th century embroidery, this contemporary piece will guide you through covering wires, needlelace techniques, covering beads, appliqué and padded work. DESIGN SIZE: 4” x 5” or 10cm x 12cm approx. Suitable for framing. A 7″ or 17cm hoop/frame is required to work in. KIT CONTENTS: The kit contains all the necessary items needed to complete this design, other than a hoop or frame. It includes the design screened onto the fabric, muslin for backing, all threads, needles, beads, organdy, florist wire, felt, instructions, glossaries and photographs.
