The millefiori glass cabochons for these earrings are all handmade, by me, with love. Fused in my glass kiln to a very high temperature, 1500 degrees F and annealed for strength. The cabochons are formed from 2 layers of glass stacked on top of each other. Carefully hand-cut clear fusing glass Coe 90 on the bottom layer. The top a layer of pretty millefiori flower slices. I’ve made extras pairs of the Rainbow as they are most popular and expecially because I’ve just managed to get my eager glassing hands on some rather lovely ‘ rainbow slices’ all the way from Croatia. All slightly different but all equally pretty, see 3rd picture. I also have one pair of sky blue, sunflower yellow for Ukraine and 4 pairs of Patriotic (red, blue and white) which have a little dichroic decoration. When they come out of the kiln I am like a child in a sweetie shop, they look so delicious. The back of the cabachons are attached to little silver plated bails using E6000 strongest adhesive and I then attach these to sterling silver hooks so you can be sure they are safe for your ears. I post these out in a sweet little white gift box. The earrings are between 2cm to 3cm x 1.5cm to 2cm and are a little chunkier than my other dichroic ones and they weigh about 5.5 grams each. Apart from the Patriotic pairs I have just one pair of each and they are all totally unrepeatable. It depends entirely on the millefiori slices I use as to how they turn out, colour and shapewise. You can choose the ones you want by clicking the little picture before adding to basket. They are numbered on the 2nd photo if you want to be sure you have selected the right pair. I make no promise of exact symmetry and they are not designed to be, they are handcut glass and glass has a mind of its own and when fusing in the kiln that does its own thing too.
