Victoria 1838 Sovereign Scarce Obv Near Extremely Fine with a couple of minor edge nicks, Rev Good Extremely Fine The Obverse features William Wyon’s ‘Young Head’ portrait of Victoria with the inscription VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. The reverse has has a crowned shield design a branch of lauren leaves either side from Jean Baptiste Merlen and the inscription BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF. Overall a very nice coin, a date always sought after Code: 1865
