Description This design is aimed at the embroiderer who has good experience of silk ribbon embroidery. Create this beautiful bouquet of flowers, working with silk ribbons, both cut on the straight and on the bias. Learn to manipulate and embroider an artistic selection of flowers to achieve a lovely 3-dimensional, raised effect – inspired by the beautiful artwork of Lys de Bray! The kit includes 4mm, 7mm and 13mm silk ribbons as well as 10mm and 15mm Hanah ribbons. DESIGN SIZE: Design measures 9” or 23cm in diameter. The hoop needed is a 12” (30cm) – preferably quilting hoop as opposed to embroidery hoop, i.e. deeper frame/hoop. The inner ring of the hoop should be bound. KIT CONTENTS: The kit includes linen/cotton blend fabric, (with the design screened onto it), muslin backing, ribbons, threads, needles, beads and stamens, felt, stuffing, stitch glossary, instructions and colour photographs.
